This Privacy Policy describes how the Flemish Brabant provincial authorities and the vzw Toerisme Vlaams-Brabant handle the personal data that they process.

Processing personal data

The personal data that you provide via this website is processed by the Province of Flemish Brabant and the vzw Toerisme Vlaams-Brabant, Provincieplein 1, 3010 Leuven. It is processed in conformance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into force on 27 April 2016. The Province of Flemish Brabant and the vzw Toerisme Vlaams-Brabant process the personal data only for the objective for which it is collected for as long as this is necessary.

Transfer to third parties

The Province of Flemish Brabant and the vzw Toerisme Vlaams-Brabant will only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the objective for which it is collected. The Province of Flemish Brabant and the vzw Toerisme Vlaams-Brabant exchange personal data with other government bodies in the context of the eGovernment Decree of 18 July 2008. Automatic storage of non-personal data

When browsing the website, data of a non-personal nature, such as the browser type, the IP address, the platform, and cookies may be stored on your computer’s hard drive. This is done solely to better align the website to the needs of repeat visitors. The Province of Flemish Brabant and the vzw Toerisme Vlaams-Brabant will not transfer this data to other organisations.

The data obtained in this manner, including your computer’s IP address, will be transferred to and stored on Google’s servers in the United States.
